Chief Financial Officer – International Fintech Operations
We’re looking for a senior executive role – Chief Financial Officer – for overseeing all financial operations and strategic financial planning in an international CFD brokerage across multiple jurisdictions.
Reports to: CEO / Board of Directors
What you'll do:
- Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business growth objectives
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across all international entities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports for Board and stakeholders for internal use
- Manage capital structure, liquidity, and across multiple currencies
- Oversee M&A activities and strategic partnerships
- Risk Management
- Implement comprehensive risk management frameworks
- Monitor market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk
- Oversee client exposure, margin requirements, and hedging strategies
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis
- Operations & Team Leadership
- Build relationships and mentor everyone in the finance role
- Establish internal controls and audit functions
- Drive financial systems automation and digitalization
- Manage banking relationships and liquidity providers
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally 10 years progressive financial role experience
- 5-7 years as CFO/Finance Director in financial services
- Proven experience in CFD/FX/online trading industry
- Track record of successful regulatory audits
- Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and analysis
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in ERP systems and trading platforms
- Excellent English language communication skills, written and spoken
- High integrity with crisis management capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (required)
- MBA or Master’s in Finance (preferred)
- CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent (required)
