Financial Department Analyst

We are seeking a high-integrity Financial Department Analyst with an “auditor’s soul” and a “fintech mind”. This role is designed for a professional who doesn’t just process data but actively searches for the truth within it. You will be responsible for ensuring the absolute accuracy of financial balances across complex payment systems and multiple entities.

Operating at the intersection of Accounting, Audit, and Fintech, you will move beyond basic data entry to perform deep-dive reconciliations and investigative analysis. Your mission is to provide an insightful, “ground-truth” view of the financial position, ensuring that every balance is verified, and every discrepancy is resolved.

This role is for a fast learner who can navigate modern payment gateways and communicate findings clearly in English to international stakeholders.

What you'll do:
  • “Search for Truth” Reconciliations: Perform rigorous reconciliation of balances across internal ledgers, bank statements, and various fintech payment systems.
  • Investigative Analysis: Identify, investigate, and resolve variances with professional skepticism, ensuring all financial records reflect reality.
  • Fintech Operations: Manage and audit transaction flows through different payment gateways, identifying slippage, fees, or reporting errors.
  • Insightful Reporting: Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable reports and dashboards for the CFO and management team.
  • QuickBooks Management: Additionally, maintain and oversee accounts within QuickBooks, ensuring all entries meet high accounting standards.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously look for ways to automate reconciliations and improve data flow between systems to increase department efficiency.
What we’re looking for:
  • Educational & Professional Background: Proven professional experience of about 5+ years in accounting or 3+ years in audit. You must understand the “why” behind the numbers and the importance of a clean audit trail.
  • Fintech & Payments: Previous experience working within the Fintech sector or direct experience reconciling various payment systems is a big advantage.
  • Linguistic Proficiency: Excellent English skills are mandatory. You must be comfortable in both written and conversational English, capable of explaining technical financial issues to global partners.
  • Technical Toolkit: Advanced Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query) is essential. Practical knowledge of QuickBooks or similar cloud-based ERPs is a big advantage.
  • Core Competencies:
  • Analytical Mind: A natural ability to spot patterns, outliers, and errors in dense datasets.
  • Fast Learner: Ability to quickly master new software, financial regulations, or complex business models.
  • Integrity & Trust: You must demonstrate a high degree of professional ethics and the courage to report findings accurately and honestly.
  • Insightful Mind: A desire to look beyond the surface level of a spreadsheet to understand the underlying business logic.
What we offer:
  • Very good salaries, bonuses
  • Fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Private health insurance for you and your family
  • Sport reimbursement
  • Diversity of fresh fruits & snacks
  • Team building and various activities
